I'm an artist and illustrator from South East England, currently hopping between West Kent and Brighton.
I create realistic imaginary work across a variety of mediums, an interest fuelled by regular life drawing and painting from life. Painting and drawing from life is essential inspiration to my work, combining strong influences from fantastic themes, stories and the natural world. I work across a variety of mediums, including but not limited to oils, digital painting, drypoint printmaking, and standard pencil-to-paper drawing.
Before taking up art, I studied physics at university, but some time after this, I decided to start learning independently. In 2016 I began oil painting and attending life drawing sessions at Draw Brighton. From there I went on to attend the Draw Atelier course run by Jake Spicer as a scholarship student.
On Saturday nights, I lead a weekly life drawing session at Draw Brighton. As of Autumn 2017, I also run classes on Drawing from Imagination at Draw.
